Submit Your Warranty Details here.

To validate your warranty, please complete the form below. This form simply validates your warranty. You must still keep a copy of your original receipt and warranty card.

Manufacturer Warranty is provided to the original customer and is non-transferable.  Your warranty is limited to the replacement of film and associated labour costs. This warranty does not cover film damaged by scratching, glass failure, glass breakage, leaking glass, film which has been subjected to mistreatment, abuse, improper care or film to which stickers, suction cups or similar are attached. This warranty does not cover any consequential loss however caused. All warranties implied by statute which can be excluded are excluded.

To Make A Claim: Keep a copy of your receipt and warranty card in order to process any claim. Any customer desiring warranty service should contact their nearest Tint Ur Ride store. If you are no longer located near a Tint Ur Ride store, please contact the Film Manufacturer on the warranty card. The  manufacturer will find a local installer to complete the warranty on their behalf. The film manufacturer requires a copy of both your warranty card and receipt or proof of payment (bank statement/copy of receipt) to be valid. We cannot reissue new warranty cards for lost or misplaced cards. Each warranty card has the details of the unique serial number of the roll of film used that is validated against the manufacturer’s records. Tint Ur Ride do not store this information which is why it is important you do not lose the warranty card. Any claims without a receipt or proof of purchase and warranty card will be rejected.

Installation Notes: Window film installation requires the use of water and a detergent solution to float the film onto the glass. The film is trimmed to size and then the excess water is squeegeed out. Invariably there is residual water that will develop a visual haze and water pockets as this remaining moisture begins to evaporate. Do not be concerned, these apparent visual imperfections will slowly disappear as the film cures and should not be regarded as defects.

After curing, a few small particles or points may remain. They are normally visible from the outside and are inherent to film adhesives. These points or light reflections do not affect the performance, durability or longevity of the film in any way.

Window Film Care: To extend the life and looks of your Window Film and to maintain your warranty coverage, certain care and maintenance should be followed.
– Do not roll down tinted windows for a period of 48 hours until the film has properly adhered to the glass.
– Do not wash the film for 21 days after installation. Do not use abrasive cleaners or coarse cloths. Use mild soap and a clean, soft cloth or synthetic sponge. Do not use Windex.
